We're moving to gTLD.club

We're often told that we are hard to follow: many websites and blogs, participations to other bloggers' platforms, more than one Twitter accounts...

We've decided to change this and focus on one single platform and it will be on gTLD.club. What I still don't know yet is if there is enough content to publish for new gTLD domainers:
  • gTLD.club now focuses on informing about new gTLDs (daily);
  • Its Newsletter sends subscribers a complete information, diaily.

Premium Renewals Just Don’t Make Sense

Premium domains

"At $5,400 per year, you’d be investing $54k if you want to buy and hold for ten years. $54k gets you a gem of a one word dot com… I’d be willing to sell my Fanboys.com domain for just $7.5k or Instability.com for $3,500, after which you’ll only pay 8-9 bucks a year to keep them".

Monte Cahn Shares His Domaining Experience

Investing in domain names according to Verisign

Extract: "Everyone wants to make money. But having focused, specific goals can help direct your activities as well as indicate when you’ve achieved your goals. Are you looking for a short-term (and potentially smaller) gain, or are you looking to take advantage of a trend for a potentially larger gain over a longer time period? Setting your expectations on the amount of your investment, return on investment and preparing for possible contingencies can help define your “entry” and “exit” strategy for your investment in a domain name and drive you to success".

Is China The New King of Domains?

Extract: "gTLDs are not under the control of the Chinese government. The ICANN controlled gTLDs are harder to seize without proper legal documentation versus their domains (.com.cn/.cn) which can be often seized without notice".

What makes a TLD great for domain investors?

Extract: "It all started (again?) when the exhibit and witness lists for the Verisign vs XYZ trial were published by theDomainNameWire. A representative of the .Club registry will be a witness for the plaintiff. That kicked off a series of tweets between Colin Campbell and Kevin Murphy from DomainIncite.com. Colin then continue to tweet more about .XYZ. (see above)".
